Transfer: Egyptian club ENPPI sign Nigerian youngster from Grassrunners FC

Date:

Egyptian side, El Sharqia ENPPI, have completed the signing of striker Razak Labode from Nationwide League One, NLO, side Grassrunners FC.

Labode signed a deal with the Cairo club ahead of the 2026-27 Egyptian Premier League season.

The promising youngster could make his debut for his new side in the clash against Egyptian giants Al Ahly in a league fixture on Sunday (today).

A first appearance against the 11-time African champions would be a major test for the young attacker.

Labode attracted the interest of ENPPI after a string of impressive performances for Grassrunners FC.

He becomes the second Nigerian to feature for ENPPI in the last five years after Minusu Buba.

ENPPI finished in sixth position in the Egyptian top-flight last season.
