Done Deal: Olayinka Joins Saudi Club Al Wehda

Nigerian forward Peter Olayinka has completed a permanent move to Saudi Arabian club Al Wehda.

Olayinka joined the Red Giants on a free transfer after parting ways with Cypriot side APOEL Nicosia.

The 30-year-old scored two goals in 14 league appearances during his spell with APOEL.

The well-travelled forward has previously played in Czechia, Serbia, Cyprus and Belgium.

Olayinka enjoyed the most successful period of his career at Czech First League side Slavia Prague, where he won three league titles and three Czech Cups.

The versatile attacker also enjoyed success with Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade, helping the club win the domestic double twice.

He was also a member of the Super Eagles squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
