Gov Bala Mourns Ex-Bauchi PDP Chairman, Sule Doguwa

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Alhaji Sule Abdulkadir Doguwa.

Doguwa, who was also a former Sole Administrator of Toro Local Government Area, died on Sunday after a prolonged illness.

In a condolence message issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, Governor Bala described the deceased as an elder statesman whose death constituted a great loss to Bauchi State.

The Governor extended his condolences to the deceased’s family, relatives, friends, political associates and others who benefited from his contributions to public service and political development.

According to him, Doguwa’s wisdom, experience and counsel would be greatly missed, particularly at a time when the state needs the contributions of experienced elders.

Governor Bala described the late politician as a man of humility, simplicity, courage and commitment to public service.

He said Doguwa’s contributions as a former Sole Administrator of Toro Local Government and Chairman of the PDP would remain part of Bauchi’s political history.

“His passing is a painful loss to Bauchi State. He was a man of courage, humility, and conviction, whose contributions to our state, both in public service and politics, will not be forgotten,” the Governor said.

Governor Mohammed prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings, accept his good deeds and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.

He also prayed for strength and fortitude for the family and associates to bear the loss.
