Serie A newcomers, Venezia have reached an agreement with Sevilla for the signing of Super Eagles striker Akor Adams, DAILY POST reports.
Sevilla accepted Venezia’s €16 million offer after initially turning down the Italian club’s opening bid.
The transfer will see Adams become the most expensive signing in Venezia’s history.
The 26-year-old joined Sevilla from French club Montpellier in January 2025 and enjoyed an impressive campaign, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists in 32 appearances across all competitions.
Adams also represented Nigeria at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, where the Super Eagles secured the bronze medal.
The energetic striker started his professional career in Norway with Lillestrom.
Adams also once represented at the U-20 level.
