World Cup 2026: Two countries eliminated from tournament

At least two countries have been eliminated from the ongoing FIFA World Cup tournament.

The two countries are Haiti and Turkey.

Haiti was the first country to be mathematically eliminated from the World Cup.

This follows a 3-0 defeat to Brazil in Philadelphia earlier today.

The result left Haiti with zero points after two Group C matches, guaranteeing they cannot progress to the Round of 32 stage.

Before their defeat to Brazil, Haiti had lost 1-0 against Scotland.

Similarly, Turkey has been eliminated from the World Cup after a 1-0 defeat to Paraguay.

They mathematically cannot advance from the group stage and are out of the tournament after losing their first two matches against Australia and Paraguay.

Turkey will face the United States of America, USA, in their last group game.
